SUPO, where required)Why this role matters:As a Senior Production Technician, Electronics, you serve as a technical anchor within ICEYE's Satellite Production Team in Valencia. You will independently execute complex electronic assembly, integration, and testing activities for power, command, and data handling subsystems, leading frontline troubleshooting, ensuring process stability, and elevating team capability by coaching junior technicians. Your day-to-day responsibilitiesPerform advanced electronic assembly and integration activities including subsystem integration (power, command, data handling), critical soldering and bonding operations, and complex test setupsLead troubleshooting of build and process issues, collaborating with Specialists, AIT Engineering, and Quality to identify root causes and implement corrective actions for electronic subsystemsOperate mechanical and electrical ground support equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes) to support smooth test operationsMaintain precise, real-time documentation of all work performed, recording results in Jira or MES and raising NCRs or redlines where requiredReview work instructions, travelers, and checklists for accuracy, providing actionable feedback for revision and initiating improvement projects in safety, reliability, and toolingAct as a coach and role model for junior and standard technicians, providing on-the-job training and transferring best practices across the teamMaintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready work environment compliant with ESD, safety, and cleanliness standardsWhat we’re looking forMust haves:Degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience in a high-reliability environment3+ years of practical experience in electronic assembly and test including soldering, harness routing, and PCB handling, preferably in aerospace or a similar high-reliability sectorExperience using lab equipment including power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagramsProven ability to lead troubleshooting efforts and mentor junior staff effectivelyProficient English (written and spoken) for cross-functional collaborationNice to haves:Experience with satellite avionics, power subsystems, and flight-critical command handlingAdvanced IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum)Experience with Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Confluence)Aerospace or space...
