Job DescriptionTeamJoin the Global Cloud Services organization and manage Public Cloud Cost & Usage governance team.Bring your expertise in managing migration to Public Cloud and work with an exceptional team experienced in across cloud engineers, customer experience, product managers, data engineers and capture immense value.RoleThis role will be responsible for establishing long range plan and monthly forecast of public cloud cost & usage, identifying and tracking optimization opportunities, working closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient resource usage and working with sales team on customer migration planning and tracking. This role will also handle commit-based-discount coverage & utilization, cost & usage tool dashboarding. The position will report to the Director of Cloud FinOps.What you get to do in this role: Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across AWS, GCP and AzureCollaborate with Engineering teams to implement cost-effective cloud solutionsDevelop and maintain cloud cost forecasting modelsManage commit-based-discounts to optimize long-term costsProvide visibility and insights into cloud expenses through dashboards and reportsDefine and implement cost allocations to measure unit-metrics of cost per customer and cost per instanceDefine and promote best practices for cloud cost governanceIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvement in cost managementWork with cloud service providers on demand planning and capacity reservationCollaborate with GTM team on customer migration planning and trackingQualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, IT, Cloud Computing, or Business); or equivalent experience.Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a FinOps or cloud financial management role.Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud providers is a strong plus.Deep knowledge of cloud cost management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Google Cloud Billing).Strong experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and enterprise-level cost optimization strategies.Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and partner closely with Engineering, Finance, and Executive Leadership teams.Full professional proficiency in English (mandatory)Nice to HaveFinOps Certified Practitioner or AWS Certified Cloud PractitionerExperience with automation tools for cost management.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to present financial insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersProactive and self-driven mindset For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $165,500 - $289,600, plus equity (when...
