Previously referred to as the London Market Joint Ventures, we have been operating for over 20 years in the London Market (Lloyd's and Company), in both insurance and reinsurance business. Processing over £117 billion worth of premium and claims transactions today, we are building a new digital platform and services that will enable our customers to move transactions and money through the processing lifecycle with greater efficiency and speed, releasing time to drive innovation and focus on higher value activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maturation of the PMO capability across the organisation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across reporting and governance activities.
- Drive adoption of PMO best practices and embed a culture of accountability and data-led decision making.
- Ensure benefits are clearly tracked, quantified, reported, and owned throughout the delivery lifecycle and beyond implementation.
- Develop reporting that demonstrates delivery value, business outcomes, and return on investment, rather than focusing solely on project status.
- Challenge programmes and suppliers to evidence delivery against agreed business objectives and expected benefits.
- Provide executive stakeholders with clear insight into realised, forecast, and at-risk benefits to support strategic decision-making.
- Create and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations that provide clear, insight-driven updates on programme performance, key risks, impacts, and decisions required.
- Implement and ensure adherence to project management frameworks, methodologies, and governance standards.
- Conduct quality checks on deliverables to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
- Support the Risk Analyst in first-line risk reviews, controls and mitigations across technology delivery, business resilience, and project/programme delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Skills, Education, and Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a PMO Lead or Senior PMO Analyst within a complex project environment
- Strong experience leading PMOs in client-facing environments
- Experience managing governance across multiple organisations (client and suppliers)
- Strong data analytical capability, specifically in Excel and Power BI
- Focus on data accuracy and integrity across stakeholders
- Proven experience presenting to senior leadership, external customers, and third-party suppliers.
- Skilled at escalation handling and expectation management
- PMP, APM, or PRINCE2 qualification
- Proficiency in PowerBI, SharePoint creation,
- Knowledge of financial burn down tracking and budget management for projects.
- Ideally someone with experience in Earned Value Management.
