Job Description:
At Regions, the Private Wealth Management Relationship Specialist assists in the coordinated delivery of a broad range of bank products and services (trust, insurance, deposits, credit, mortgage, investment, etc.) to affluent clients. This role is responsible for rendering an extraordinarily high level of services to private wealth management clients and supporting the Private Wealth management team’s effort to grow and retain clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Supports sales efforts by assisting with information for scheduling appointments, making follow-up telephone calls, and preparing and maintaining client marketing materials
Collaborates with Private Wealth Management and Sales teams to ensure client needs are fulfilled and promote business development and client retention opportunities
Facilitates the day-to-day standard to complex transactional needs of the client base, including processing deposits, payments, account transfers, distributions, wire transactions, opening accounts, credit request applications, securing documentation required for loan origination and servicing, trust account set-up and servicing, or other client support transactions
Serves as a key member of the client team, proactively identifying new business opportunities, and regularly participating in face-to-face client meetings
Monitors the loan pipeline process on a proactive basis
Responds to client requests for information and assists with a wide range of inquiries, within the appropriate level of authority, including the processing of documentation for overdrafts and monitoring of various first line of defense risk activities
Enters and maintains appropriate client records in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, handles the preparation of loan documents, and assists with the setup of new accounts
Researches and monitors accounts to identify and resolve operational issues
May guide and/or train less experienced Private Wealth Relationship Management Specialists
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of Private Wealth administration, Trust support administration, paralegal, investment management support, or related experience
Or High School Diploma or GED and six (6) years of Private Wealth administration, Trust Support administration, or related experience
Preferences
Thorough understanding of the Banking and Investment Services industries
Solid understanding of Wealth Management processes
Advanced knowledge of Investment Services support
Fundamental knowledge of credit processes

- Ability to navigate complex documentation and administrative processes with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing, interpreting, and managing legal, trust, fiduciary, estate, or related documentation is highly desirable.
- The ideal candidate will possess experience in trust administration, fiduciary operations, legal support, or paralegal functions, combined with a client-focused approach.

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
