Palo Alto Networks is looking for an agile, highly organized, and operationally-minded Marketing Specialist to serve as the operational backbone for our regional marketing functions. In this role, you will drive marketing initiatives, manage day-to-day tactical execution, and support demand and pipeline generation activities across multiple sales districts.
This is a foundational position designed for an AI-proficient and AI-curious operator. Rather than simply executing existing processes, you will reinvent them. By leveraging AI and automation, you will build and optimize scalable workflows to drive operational efficiency, manage complex event logistics, and lead sales communications—empowering Senior Regional Marketing Managers to focus on high-value strategic initiatives.
Event & Conference Management
Support end-to-end planning, logistics, promotion, shipping, and post-event follow-ups for digital and in-person events, regional conferences, and industry associations.
Serve as the principal operational producer for sales-led webinars in coordination with the North America Marketing Hub.
Operational Excellence & Fiscal Governance
Maintain budget integrity within Allocadia.
Process vendor onboarding and Purchase Requisitions (PRs) via Ariba.
Act as the centralized point of contact for field sales support requests using Asana for workflow management.
Legal, Contractual & Sales Communications
Serve as the primary operational liaison between Marketing and Legal teams via Ironclad and DocuSign.
Draft, format, and deploy regional newsletters and critical operational updates via Email and Slack to keep sales teams aligned and informed.
Data & Lead Governance
Cleanse, format, and upload non-standard regional lead lists into Salesforce within established SLAs.
Track campaign metrics, marketing ROI, and pipeline progression using Tableau.
AI Workflow Automation
Actively build, document, and share AI-driven templates, prompt libraries, and automated workflows.
Streamline manual processes including complex spreadsheet formatting, copy drafting, and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Experience & Education
Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in Marketing Operations, Field Marketing Coordination, Project Coordination, or an analytical administrative role.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Core Competencies
AI Proficiency: Practical experience using generative AI tools to streamline daily workflows (including data manipulation, copy drafting, and workflow automation) with an eagerness to push AI boundaries in marketing operations.
Business Acumen: Strong interest in or prior experience navigating the distinct business dynamics, compliance guardrails, and buying behaviors of Canada and/or the Public Sector (Government, Education, etc.).
Sales Mindset: Empathetic understanding of the sales cycle and priorities, with a proven ability to effectively support and communicate with a high-performing sales organization.
Event Coordination: Hands-on experience managing logistical details, vendor relationships, and tracking for physical and virtual events.
Operational Discipline: Proactive self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and a focus on meeting strict deadlines. Proven ability to anticipate team needs, recognize operational patterns, and navigate legal/finance friction in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex operational updates into engaging, actionable communications for sales teams.

CRM, Data & Reporting: Salesforce (highly preferred), Tableau, Advanced Excel, Google Sheets (formulas, data cleaning)
Financial, Procurement & Project Management: Allocadia, Ariba, Asana
Legal & Admin: Ironclad, DocuSign
Collaboration & Productivity: Company-provisioned Generative AI tools
Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
