## About this Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Employee Relations professional to lead labour law compliance, employee relations governance, and workplace integrity across VOIS Eastern Europe. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to local employment legislation, managing complex employee cases, and strengthening a fair, transparent, and compliant organisational culture.
The individual will act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, driving best practices in employee relations, overseeing investigations and disciplinary processes, and shaping policies aligned with Vodafone’s Code of Conduct. With responsibility across multiple countries, the role requires strong stakeholder engagement, legal understanding, and a proactive approach to mitigating risk and enhancing employee experience.
## What you’ll do
* Lead compliance with labour laws and social insurance regulations across Eastern Europe, including audits and inspections
* Build and maintain relationships with labour authorities and represent VOIS during regulatory engagements
* Manage complex employee relations cases including grievances, investigations, disciplinary actions, and legal disputes
* Act as a key liaison between HR, Legal, Corporate Security, Finance, and external counsel
* Oversee involuntary exit processes ensuring compliance, fairness, and effective communication
* Drive governance and consistency in employee relations practices, including Speak Up and fraud cases
* Enhance and administer employee relations platforms, ensuring accurate case tracking and documentation
* Promote and embed the Code of Conduct across all teams and locations
* Deliver insights through data analysis, identifying trends, risks, and recommendations for HR leadership
* Lead digital transformation initiatives within employee relations, improving efficiency and process automation
* Manage employee relations communications channels, including mailbox oversight and MyHR content accuracy
* Deliver training sessions on policies, employee rights, and labour law compliance
* Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Health & Safety, Property, and Internal Communications
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
## Who you are
* Extensive experience (8+ years) in HR with strong exposure to employee relations and labour law
* Solid expertise in Eastern European labour legislation and social insurance frameworks
* Proven ability to manage investigations, grievances, and disciplinary processes
* Experience handling audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple organisational levels
