Skip to main contentEnglishEnglishBack to all jobsMechanical Engineer/ Technician (m/f/d) RoboticsGermany, Munich (HQ)Full-timePermanent employeeApply for this jobAbout the roleWe are looking for a motivated and skilled Hardware / Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d) As part of this team, you will contribute to both supporting existing robotic platforms and developing next-generation prototypes for high-degree-of-freedom (high-DOF) robotic systems. In this role, you will ensure reliable operation of our robotic systems, while also designing and implementing robust mechanisms that meet the demands of cutting-edge applications. Success in this position requires a combination of technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, uncertain environment.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop complex robotic mechanisms, ensuring high precision, reliability, and manufacturability (from drawing to finished part)Create detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and assembly documentation for productionPrototype mechanical parts using 3D printing and workshop toolsSupport assembly and integration of mechatronic systems, including basic electrical wiring and component installationConduct testing and commissioning of robotic systems and ensure smooth operationCollaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing) to ensure seamless system integrationTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development and production phasesStay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in robotics and mechanical designWork autonomously on open-ended, evolving tasksEssential SkillsProficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, knowledge of PDM systems is a plus)Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, prototyping, and electrical wiringPractical workshop skills: 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, drill pressStrong knowledge of mechanical design principles (kinematics, dynamics, tolerances, manufacturability)Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teamsSelf-motivated, reliable, and solution-oriented mindsetFluent in English; German or Chinese skills are a plusFlexibility to travel occasionally for customer installations and supportBeneficial SkillsExperience in robotics, automation, or system integrationKnowledge of electronics, sensors, and camera systems (e.g., ZED, Intel RealSense)Familiarity with technical standards and compliance in robotics/mechatronicsYour ProfileDegree or technical training in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fieldStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking skillsSelf-driven with a passion for cutting-edge robotics technologyDetail-oriented with a focus on robust system designAdaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced development cycleWhat we offerA dynamic high-tech company combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.Lots of development opportunities in the context of our continued growth.Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.Corporate Benefits Program that covers health, mobility, and learning with 100€ net per month.Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment.About usAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
