Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a LVA Tester Lead - 1st shift.
The hourly rate for this position is $28.88 - $32.00 per hour.

What you’ll do:
The primary function of the LVA Tester Lead, is to set up, operate and maintain a variety of test equipment to perform electrical, electronic and mechanical tests on a variety of control equipment.

To process paperwork accurately and with accountability. F. To follow procedures with versatility, efficiency and attention to details. G. To develop rapport and establish relationships with customers. H. To troubleshoot, develop test setups and new procedures when current procedures are inadequate. I. To perform customer witness tests, record data and write reports. J. To repair warranty and non-warranty problems. K. To recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise. L. Skilled proficiency in the following: M. Basic Test Equipment Operation N. Basic Troubleshooting Techniques
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications: • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. • Two year Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience • Minimum 2 years of Previous Intermediate experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, of electrical distribution or control systems • Previous experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment • Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Formalized training for continuous improvement
Position Criteria:
• Experience with protective relays. • Perform electrical testing or service work (i.e. physical and mental activities) on equipment ranging from 5VDC (logic devices, zone interlocking signals, etc.) up to 30KVAC three phase power. • Advanced Troubleshooting Technique • Advanced Test Equipment Operation • Assist Design and Application Engineers with special test projects • Ability to repetitively work at elevated heights, standing, climbing, squatting, bending, kneeling • Ability to repetitively lift, hold, push, pull, handle 50 pounds • Strong computer skills • Strong knowledge of the company's electrical, electronic and mechanical products. • Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical and electronic equipment. • Demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction.
Satisfactory completion of the following courses: • Basic Electricity • Motors and Controls • PLC Programming • Fundamentals AC/DC
