Your role and responsibilities

Minimum 10 Years’ experience in handling large network

operations centre, preferably with software defined data centre

networks

Experience in handling of implementation and management of

large size WAN (minimum 300+ data centre devices)

Experience in handling various topologies using routing protocols

including OSPF and BGP

Knowledge of service provider MPLS network

Hands on experience on Cisco ACI Technology or equivalent

technology, Data Centre Networking, Network Security, SD WAN

and Virtualization Management.

a) Escalation support for complex problem resolution to L2 team

and is responsible for maintaining, configuring, troubleshooting

and up keeping of the entire bank’s network including all data

centers and external business partner networks.

b) Analyse, approve and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for

any critical incidents

c) Should be available on all working days of the bank and on any

exigencies like planned/unplanned activities including DR

Drills/network outages/issues on critical devices

d) L3 will lead the NOC, head Help desk and coordinate for new

projects, coordinate with OEM other departments and external

business partners, should be part of emergency Response

Team, perform network amalgamation and migration, network

architecture changes, root cause analysis, and resolve other

network issues

e) Arrive at the network topology changes/addition/deletion

whenever required by the bank and update the topology diagram

accordingly.

f) Is responsible for providing the "plan of action" for the DR Drill,

other drills and coordinate with other user/technical departments,

service providers for successful completion of the DR Drill and

provide reports.

g) Should be conversant with Network infrastructure planning,

complex change and configuration management, audit, training

etc.

h) Prepare Plan of Action for the activities/Configurations to be

performed.

i) Should induct/remove network devices at critical locations

j) Fix the vulnerabilities and audit findings

k) Apply of Patch for bug fixes

l) Follow up on TAC cases

Valid CCIE Routing and Switching (Lab) or CCIE Data Centre

(LAB) or JNCIE (LAB) or equivalent expert level certification

(including LAB exam) from reputed OEMs(not related to firewalls)

Required technical and professional expertise

• Exposure to Networking Technologies: Solid base of networking knowledge, including hardware and software products, with proficiency demonstrated through Digital Technical Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, ADVA ACE FSP 3000, F5 201/301/302/303/304/401, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSE, Fortinet NSE4/NSE5/NSE6/NSE7/NSE8, Riverbed RCPE Professional WAN-Op. • Experience Working with Debug Equipment: Familiarity with specialized debug equipment to isolate issues, document action plans accurately, and replicate device failure mechanisms using lab hardware. • Understanding of Cognitive Support Platforms: Exposure to Cognitive Support Platform (Salesforce), Watson Einstein Analytics, or other tools to analyze trends and drive automation. • Knowledge of Networking Technologies Documentation: Ability to analyze knowledge centers for different Networking technologies and generate technical documentation for service personnel and clients. • Experience with Remote Technical Support Delivery: Familiarity with providing remote technical support service delivery within established guidelines, demonstrating technical skills that contribute to client satisfaction.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Advanced Networking Certifications: Exposure to higher-level Digital Technical Certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, Juniper JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent. • Specialized Debug Equipment: Experience working with advanced debug equipment to isolate complex issues and document action plans accurately. • Cognitive Support Platform Analytics: Exposure to advanced analytics tools within Cognitive Support Platform (Salesforce), Watson Einstein Analytics, or other tools to drive automation and improve effectiveness.
