We are currently seeking a MDM Development Lead / PM to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
"1. Day-to-Day Job Duties
As a Stibo STEP Development Lead with Technical PM responsibilities, you will lead the engineering team while ensuring successful, on-time delivery of MDM solutions aligned to business and architectural goals.
Daily / Weekly Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of STEP developers and technical resources, providing guidance on design, coding, and best practices
• Own end-to-end technical delivery, including scope, timeline, and quality outcomes
• Plan, manage, and track project deliverables, milestones, and dependencies
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives)
• Coordinate with business, QA, architecture, and integration teams to ensure cross-functional alignment
• Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and blockers
• Design and oversee implementation of STEP configurations (data models, workflows, business rules)
• Ensure proper resource allocation and workload balancing across the team
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize backlog and align deliverables to business value
• Drive status reporting, dashboards, and executive updates
• Oversee release planning and deployment coordination across environments
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, governance standards, and architectural guidelines
• Support data migration, testing, and production readiness activities
• Mentor team members in both technical and delivery best practices

2. Basic Qualifications
The following skills and experience are required:
Technical & Domain Skills
• 6–10+ years of software development experience, with strong focus on data platforms
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Stibo STEP (MDM/PIM)
• 2–3+ years in a Technical Lead role managing development teams
• Strong experience with:
o STEP business rules (JavaScript) – 3+ years
o Data modeling and hierarchies – 3+ years
o Workflow configuration – 2+ years
• Strong understanding of MDM concepts (data governance, quality, lifecycle management) – 3+ years
• Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, batch, messaging) – 3+ years
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis – 3+ years
Project / Delivery Management Skills
• 3–5+ years of experience managing technical projects or workstreams
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks – 3+ years
• Proven ability to manage:
o Project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
o Risks, issues, and dependency tracking
o Stakeholder communication and reporting
• Experience using project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar) – 3+ years
• Experience with Mulesoft integration platforms
• Strong ability to balance hands-on development with delivery ownership
• Experience in release planning, environment coordination, and deployment cycles

Advanced Technical Skills
• Experience leading end-to-end Stibo STEP implementations
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, Azure Event Hub)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Project Management & Leadership Enhancements
• PMP, Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent certification
• Experience managing large-scale or multi-team (onshore/offshore) delivery models
• Strong experience with budget tracking and financial management for projects
• Ability to drive program-level reporting and executive communication
• Experience establishing delivery governance frameworks and KPIs
• Familiarity with change management and organizational adoption strategies
Domain & Ecosystem Knowledge
• Experience with PIM and product syndication (GDSN, eCommerce ecosystems)
• Industry experience in Manufacturing, or Automotive
• Stibo STEP certification(s)
