Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.Job DescriptionSummary: The Assembler position is essential in the aggregation of sheet metal control house building. They will assist with layout, measure, and marking dimensions and reference lines. The Assembler needs to be versatile and willing and able to quickly learn a variety of skills. The Assembler works independently, quickly, and efficiently with little supervision. The individual we are looking for will be a team player and willing to help wherever there is need.  Hours of Operation:  Monday - Thursday, 4:30 pm - 2:30 am This will include a 10% shift differentialAccountabilities:Assemble sheet metal control house buildings. Layout, measure, and mark dimensions and reference lines. Rig items for lifting. Use relevant hand tools in various stages of assembly. Work through a different number of tasks in various stages and areas of production. Work safely every day wearing proper PPE such as safety glasses and ear plugs.    Other job-related responsibilities as assigned. Attributes:Safety First: Proactively inspects, maintains, and removes unsafe tools and equipment from circulation to protect employees and ensure a hazard-free workplace.Have Humanity: Supports team members by quickly fulfilling tool and supply requests, reducing downtime, and creating a collaborative, respectful environment.Be Transparent: Maintains accurate inventory records, communicates shortages or repair timelines, and keeps stakeholders informed to build trust.Drive Innovation: Improves tool tracking, storage systems, and ordering processes by introducing better technology and workflows to minimize production delays.Be Resilient: Stays calm and adaptable during urgent requests, shifting priorities to meet production demands despite supply chain challenges.Always Reliable: Consistently ensures tools, consumables, and equipment are available, organized, and audit-ready to support seamless daily operations.Grit: Persistently addresses recurring tool issues, performs thorough counts and repairs, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly under pressure.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (required) 1-2 years' experience in the field of manufacturing or assembly (preferred) Welding and fabrication experience a HUGE plus.Knowledge of proper use and care of hand and power tools Experience driving a forklift (desired) Must be able to work from 10’ ladders. Knowledge of jobsite safety and ability to always ensure a safe workplace. Have reliable attendance, be respectful and responsible at work. Additional InformationA Note to our Recruitment Partners: We really appreciate the interest, but MCG currently manages hiring through our internal team.
