  • Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
  • Assign work tasks and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.
  • Train, coach, and mentor new and existing warehouse employees.
  • Ensure all receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to prioritize workloads and resolve operational issues.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
  • Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues.
  • Monitor employee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure quality standards and customer service expectations are consistently met.
  • Assist with scheduling, workflow planning, and shift coverage when necessary.
  • Lead by example by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to warehouse management.
  • Perform hands-on warehouse duties as needed to support the team and meet business demands.
   Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse experience, including in a lead or supervisory role.
  •  High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  •  Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible and time management skills required.
  • Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
  •  Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.
  • Ability to work in non-climate and climate-controlled conditions required
  • Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
