The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
- Supervise and support warehouse associates during daily operations.
- Assign work tasks and monitor productivity to meet operational goals.
- Train, coach, and mentor new and existing warehouse employees.
- Ensure all receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to prioritize workloads and resolve operational issues.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed and if certified.
- Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues.
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies.
- Ensure quality standards and customer service expectations are consistently met.
- Assist with scheduling, workflow planning, and shift coverage when necessary.
- Lead by example by promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to warehouse management.
- Perform hands-on warehouse duties as needed to support the team and meet business demands.
- Previous warehouse experience, including in a lead or supervisory role.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible and time management skills required.
- Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or varying shifts as needed.
- Ability to work in non-climate and climate-controlled conditions required
