Job Description

We Protect Those Who Protect Us. Join us in BAE's Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area as a Value Stram Specialist, Sr in the Advanced Compact EW Solutions (ACES) Product Line. In this product line you will be supporting next-generation countermeasures to help aircraft answer evolving threats.

We are seeking a Value Stream Specialist (VSS) for our Area 5 Factory to lead the establishment and growth of a new 4th shift (Friday–Sunday). This is a critical leadership role designed to support unprecedented growth across multiple programs. As the primary lead for the weekend shift, you will be responsible for standing up the shift's operations, establishing a high-performance culture, and managing the flow of work to ensure critical milestones are met.
Shift Note: This position supports the 4th Shift (Weekend Day Shift), primarily working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There is flexibility to adjust Thursday and Sunday to 6-hour days with full 12-hour days on Friday and Saturday to facilitate weekday handoffs. This schedule consists of 36 hours worked per week with 40 hours of pay, plus a 10% pay premium. This position is 100% on-site at the Canal Street facility, Nashua, NH

The 4th shift serves as the strategic bridge for our operations, maintaining momentum over the weekend to ensure the facility is positioned for success in the coming week and recovering any schedule variances from the previous week. You will act as the primary point of contact for the shift, overseeing the manufacturing process and collaborating with manufacturing engineering, production planning, and quality control. Because this shift operates with higher autonomy, we are seeking a leader who is independent, trustworthy, and deeply versed in electronics manufacturing and compliance. This role offers a unique growth trajectory: you will start by leading a small, agile group and will scale the organization into a robust operation over the next 2–5 years as our product mix evolves.

As the shift begins with a smaller footprint, the ideal candidate will be a 'player-coach' who is comfortable transitioning between high-level leadership and hands-on technical support to ensure production targets are met.
