This is an in-person position will be in Redondo Beach, CA.Specialty Test is looking to fill a Level 2/3 Engineering Technician to help support all aspects/disciplines of Environmental and Specialty Test. The selected candidate must possess excellent communication skills and exceptional abilities to work well within a diverse team. Preferred candidate should have Structural Test experience and a general understanding of the hardware and methodology employed during a large variety of different testing environments and scenarios. This is a very unique role that requires the candidate to exhibit proficiency in both electrical and mechanical facets involved with all testing functions interchangeably. Candidate must have proficient familiarity with operating and the basic concepts pertaining to data acquisition and load control hardware as well as related instrumentation such as: LVDTs, Strain Gages, String Pots, Load Cells, etc.The selected individual is expected to work for and under the direction of a senior level personnel, Engineers and or Test Conductors. Candidate must possess the troubleshooting and interpersonal skills that will enable them to help manage statements of work and assignments in addition to mitigating issues within the entire Measurements team.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Contribute to the development, fabrication and assembly of mechanical and electromechanical components, sub-assemblies, systems and test stands. Setup and operate Data Acquisition Systems, execute to test plans.Participate in talent cross training efforts...
