Mecánico de Decorado

Responsabilidades

Asegurar la operación del proceso de decorado, cambios de diseño con base a los estándares,  procedimientos, controles y políticas establecidas por Crown bajo un proceso de mejora continúa minimizando tiempos, optimizando materiales y dando soporte a los mecánicos líderes para el logro de las metas establecidas en los indicadores operativos, el crecimiento, permanencia y rentabilidad del negocio, asegurando el cumplimiento de las necesidades de nuestros clientes.

•INDISPENSABLE Carrera Técnica en Mecánica Automotriz, Industrial, Eléctrica o carrera a fin.

Job Summary**

The Deco Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal functioning of machinery and equipment used in the decoration and finishing processes of manufactured products. This role ensures production efficiency and product quality through proactive and reactive technical interventions.

Job Responsibilities**

* Perform routine preventative maintenance on decoration machinery, including but not limited to, printing presses, coating machines, assembly lines, and associated automation.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
* Execute corrective repairs, component replacements, and adjustments to restore machinery to full operational capacity.
* Calibrate and adjust equipment parameters to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
* Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve recurring equipment problems and implement long-term solutions.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and downtime.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) when performing maintenance.
* Participate in the installation and commissioning of new decoration equipment.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Train production operators on basic equipment operation and preventative maintenance tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field is highly preferred.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in decoration or finishing processes.
* Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical (low voltage), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
* Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
* Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
