About This Role: As the Associate Director of the US Nurse Educator Program at Biogen, you will lead our national network of contracted Nurse Educators, pivotal to supporting the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) franchise. This role is integral to Biogen US Patient Services, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for patients and healthcare professionals through tailored support programs that facilitate successful initiation and adherence to Biogen therapies. You will oversee field nursing operations, vendor performance, and program execution to ensure a consistent and high-quality patient experience from therapy initiation through long-term adherence. Your leadership will involve developing strategic business plans, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, and driving operational excellence across the Nurse Educator program. Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Patient Services, Marketing, Market Access, Managed Markets, Medical, and Decision Support teams, you will ensure alignment on business priorities while fostering robust collaboration between field teams and home office stakeholders. This field-based position demands up to 50% national travel and the capability to effectively lead a geographically dispersed team committed to empowering patients to confidently begin and maintain Biogen MS therapies.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the strategy, direction, and execution of the Nurse Educator program to support Biogen's MS franchise and patient services objectives.
- Develop and execute national business plans aligned to patient support and brand objectives.
- Establish program goals, KPIs, and performance targets.
- Drive strategic initiatives focused on patient onboarding, adherence, retention, and patient experience.
- Identify opportunities to evolve the Nurse Educator model and expand organizational impact.
- Ensure consistent execution across all regions and vendor partners.
- Lead a geographically dispersed team of contracted Nurse Educators.
- Establish performance expectations and accountability measures.
- Monitor field effectiveness, workload management, and resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of coaching, development, engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Manage vendor partnerships and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Partner closely with Patient Services, Sales, Marketing, Medical, Managed Markets, Market Access, and Training teams.

Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience leading regional or national field teams in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategic business plans.
- Experience in vendor management and operational governance.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% nationally.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Multiple Sclerosis therapeutic area.
- Advanced degree in healthcare or related field.
- Knowledge of patient services and field nursing operations.

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
