GTM Engineer

2-4 Years Bangalore Full-Time

Why this role exists

Here's the honest pitch on why we're opening this seat, not just a list of duties.Discover Dollar sells into CFOs, Controllers, and Procurement leaders at large enterprises - people who trust systems, not slogans. Our marketing has to work the same way: precise, data-backed, and connected end-to-end. Right now, a lot of that connective tissue - the CRM hygiene, the intent signals, the LinkedIn ad execution, the workflows that quietly move a lead from "downloaded a report" to "sales has full context on a call" - is stitched together manually across a few of us. That doesn't scale, and it's the single biggest thing slowing down how fast marketing can prove its impact on pipeline. We're hiring a GTM Engineer to own that stitching. This is not a traditional "marketing ops" or "campaign manager" role. Think of it as the technical backbone of go-to-market: part RevOps, part marketing automation builder, part data/tooling operator, part sales' best friend. If you've ever been the person on a team who says "give me an hour and I'll build a workflow for that" instead of "let's do it manually every time" — this role was written with you in mind.

About Discover Dollar

Discover Dollar is a B2B enterprise AI platform focused on spend integrity - helping large enterprises recover overpayments, audit accounts payable, and catch leakage before it happens, across SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite environments. Our customers are Fortune 500 retail, CPG, manufacturing, and logistics companies who run on complex systems and expect the same rigor from their vendors that we help them enforce on their own spend.

The role, in plain terms

You'll be the person who makes sure our go-to-market motion runs on data and systems instead of spreadsheets and memory. You'll sit at the intersection of marketing, sales, and RevOps - building the pipes, keeping the data clean, running the tools, and making sure every channel (paid, organic, events, outbound) feeds into one coherent picture of the funnel that both marketing and sales trust. You won't own strategy in isolation - you'll be the engineer who makes the strategy executable, measurable, and repeatable.

What you'll own

1. Sales Enablement & Systems of Record

  • Be the owner of CRM data quality - deduping, enriching, and maintaining accounts, contacts, and lifecycle stages so sales always trusts what they see.
  • Build and maintain the "system of record" that both marketing and sales pull from - no more two teams working off two different truths.
  • Feed sales with account and contact-level data (firmographic, intent, engagement) so outreach is targeted, not cold-cold.
  • Directly support account-based marketing execution - account scoring, list building, and coordinating marketing touches against sales' target account list.

2. Paid & Account-Based Media

  • Plan, launch, and optimize LinkedIn Ads campaigns (ABM, retargeting, thought-leadership amplification) - you should be comfortable owning Campaign Manager end-to-end, not just briefing an agency.
  • Tie ad spend back to pipeline, not just impressions and clicks.

3. Intent Data & Prospecting Tooling

  • Run and get real value out of tools like Apollo, Clay, and ZoomInfo - enrichment, list building, waterfall lookups, and intent signal tracking.
  • Translate intent data into action: surfacing accounts showing buying signals to both marketing and sales in near real time.

4. Full-Funnel Attribution & Reporting

  • Understand the marketing funnel deeply enough to instrument it - from first touch to closed-won.
  • Build and maintain touchpoint tracking across every channel (paid, organic, email, events, outbound) so we can answer "what's actually working" with data, not opinion.
  • Own MQL/SQL definitions and lead scoring logic in partnership with sales.

5. Marketing Automation & Workflows

  • Design and build the automations that run our lifecycle marketing - nurture sequences, lead routing, notifications, and handoffs between tools (HubSpot, Zapier/Make, Slack, CRM).
  • Reduce manual work across the marketing team by systematizing repeatable processes.

6. Events - Strategy to Execution to Data

  • Support planning and on-the-ground execution for hosted, sponsored, and attended events.
  • Make sure event data (registrations, scans, meetings booked) flows cleanly back into the CRM and gets acted onan event isn't done when it ends, it's done when the leads are worked.

7. Content Collaboration

  • Partner with the content team to distribute and personalize content by account/segment, and to close the loop on what content is actually influencing pipeline.

8. Agencies, Partners & Vendors

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with marketing agencies, tool vendors, and partners - briefs, timelines, performance accountability.

9. Marketing Operations & Tech Stack

  • Own the health of the marketing tech stack - integrations, data flow, reporting dashboards, and hygiene across the tools marketing and sales rely on daily.

What you bring

  • 2–4 years in marketing operations, RevOps, growth engineering, or a similar hybrid role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Hands-on experience with a CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) and comfort being the person who fixes the data, not just reports on it.
  • Working knowledge of intent/enrichment tools - Apollo, Clay, ZoomInfo, Clearbit, or similar.
  • Experience running LinkedIn Ads directly (not just briefing someone else to do it).
  • Solid grip on marketing automation platforms and tools like Zapier/Make/Workato for connecting systems.
  • A real understanding of the B2B marketing funnel - how a lead moves, where it stalls, and how to instrument that journey.
  • Comfort with reporting and dashboards (Excel/Sheets at minimum; SQL is a strong plus).
  • A builder's mindset - you'd rather create a repeatable system than repeat manual work.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase) or event tech (Bizzabo, Splash).
  • Exposure to enterprise software sales cycles (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite ecosystem is a bonus).
  • Basic scripting/automation skills beyond no-code tools.
