About the Role:
We are looking for a structured, detail-oriented, and collaborative Project Manager to join our M&A team, with a focus on post-acquisition integration and transition. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and timely integration of acquired businesses into our organization—across people, processes, technology, and culture.
The ideal candidate brings strong project management capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to bring structure and momentum to complex, cross-functional efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Integration Management
Own and drive the integration plan for acquired businesses—covering functions like operations, client servicing, technology, legal, finance, HR, and product.Cross-Functional Coordination
Work with internal teams and acquired entity stakeholders to define workstreams, assign ownership, and track deliverables.Structured Program Execution
Establish and maintain structured project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, timelines, and accountability.Progress Tracking & Reporting
Define and track integration metrics and KPIs. Provide regular updates to the M&A team and senior leadership on progress, risks, and mitigations.Risk Identification & Issue Resolution
Proactively identify potential roadblocks in integration and facilitate timely resolution with the relevant teams.Cultural & Operational Alignment
Help ensure a smooth cultural transition and alignment between teams by facilitating onboarding, orientation sessions, and knowledge transfer.Change Management Support
Act as a change agent to help teams adapt to new structures, tools, and workflows post-acquisition.Documentation & Institutionalization
Maintain structured documentation of integration checklists, status trackers, learnings, and post-mortems for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
5–8 years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO roles—preferably in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Exposure to post-merger integration, business transformation, or consulting will be an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; ability to align diverse teams around a common goal.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel projects and workstreams with attention to detail and structured execution.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Excel) and reporting dashboards.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
Experience working in matrix organizations and managing across hierarchies.
