Human Resources Coordinator - Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain accurate and confidential Team Member files, HR records, databases, and documentation.
- Prepare HR letters, certificates, employment verification letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and applicable UAE labour laws and regulations.
- Support payroll administration and employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding and employee record updates.
- Ensure HR records are complete and up to date to support internal and external audits.
- Coordinate Team Member engagement, recognition, and appreciation initiatives throughout the year.
- Organize birthdays, service anniversaries, recognition ceremonies, cultural celebrations, and Team Member events.
- Support internal HR communications through email, digital screens, noticeboards, and communication platforms.
- Respond to Team Member enquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general HR matters.
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team and collaborate with hotel departments as required.
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.
Provide support to the HR team on departmental projects and initiatives as required.
Participate in hotel meetings, training, and Team Member activities as required.
Maintain flexibility to support the changing operational needs of the Human Resources department.
Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the HR leadership team.
TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and update Team Member data accurately in the HRIS and relevant HR systems.
Manage electronic and physical HR records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
Prepare HR reports, employee data, and documentation as required by management.
Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data and payroll-related information.
Maintain accurate records related to attendance, leave, employee movements, and other HR transactions.
Ensure HR documentation and processes comply with company policies and applicable UAE labour regulations.
Utilise HR systems and Microsoft Office applications effectively for daily HR administration and reporting.
Support HR audits by providing accurate records, reports, and required documentation.

- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
