This position is meant to support the Regional DnD, Vas and surcharges FBP’s on performance management and strategic business discussions by driving value for leaders through in-depth analysis and actionable insights. Influence decision-making by fostering strong collaboration and providing clear recommendations, while also delivering financial leadership perspectives to support the business.

Key Accountabilities

1. Identify business opportunities and risks through advanced data analysis

2. Challenge business assumptions with data and recommendations from deep dives at terminal, customer, and trade levels

3. Actively partnering with stakeholders to create business value

4. Dedicated support for ROP Head of surcharges & VAS and their team to optimize the ocean business KPIs

5. Generate customer insights for strategic engagement and potential negotiations

6. Provide cost, payment, and dispute data on customer level to be used but not limited to customer visits.

7. Producing and organizing the Management reporting cycle

8. Deliver accurate data to Senior Management for direction setting, proactively transforming the data landscape to support the integrator journey and network strategy

9. Deliver various reports to support cost analysis and recovery, as well as revenue optimization.

10. Supporting cost performance and recovery initiatives

11. Leveraging cost and procurement FBPs to enable trade teams to drive effective targeted improvements on location level

12. Collaborating with area teams, validating data to ensure robust revenue assurance controls

13. Advance global reporting standardization
14. Adopting or creating global solutions where applicable, striving for single source of truth in all data, advocating ROP needs in global BI, GDA and FBP forums
15. Foster peer-to-peer learning and development
16. Regular engagement with DnD FBP colleagues to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance (CA/ MBA-finance)

  • 3+ years of experience in finance and analysis

  • Good communication and stakeholder influencing skills

  • Working proficiency on tools such as Microsoft Excel, SAP-BI/BW, Power BI
