Primary Location: United States (US) - Illinois - East Moline Function: Factory Engineering (CA) Title: Part-Time Student - Factory Engineering - East Moline, IL - 120409 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Note: Relocation assistance is not provided. The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND. ## Your Responsibilities As a Factory Engineering Part-Time Student for John Deere Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL you will: * Support CMM Programming Activities in a Production and Product Development Environment * Support Dimensional Analysis Activities relative to CMM Program Output * Support Troubleshooting with CMM software programs relative to coding and technical needs of CMM Machines * Support process and program improvement initiatives * Support Quality Services Processes and Project Improvement Initiatives This position is not available to students on immigration visas ## What Skills You Need * Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Software Programming or Computer Science Discipline; Others may apply * Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. local accredited college/university. * Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later. * Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above. * Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly. * Available to work during the summer semester 30-40 hours/weekly. * Must be able to commute to the work location in East Moline, IL on a daily basis year-round. ## What Makes You Stand Out * Demonstrated Ability to rapidly learn new technologies * Manufacturing and/or Metrology Experience * Computer and/or Machine Programming Experience * Analytical Problem Solving Skills * Software & Technology Experience At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
