THE BUSINESS UNIT
CCC is a Honeywell business unit specializing in the provision of control hardware, software, and services for turbomachinery applications. Our solutions help optimize the performance, efficiency, and reliability of turbomachinery systems across a variety of industrial sectors.
We work closely with our customers to deliver customized solutions that meet their specific needs and requirements.
The Senior Application Engineer/System Sales Engineer will provide technical and commercial support for the sales process by understanding the customer process and needs, and identifying the solutions offered by the Honeywell CCC group.
The main focus of the AE will be to assist the organization in winning orders by providing
technical expertise and solutions to our customers by supporting CCC group customers within the assigned region in conjunction with the Account Managers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
- Provide technical and strategic support for Brownfield and Greenfield sales opportunities by
- reviewing, validating, and presenting CCC solutions to customers. Act as the regional Subject
- Matter Expert for TMC optimization, support Application Engineers and Dynamic Simulation sales
- activities, conduct site surveys, support startups and training, and assist with proposal, contract,
- and scope qualification reviews. Serve on Project Review Boards for regional projects.
- Act as the primary technical resource throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with customers,
- third-party stakeholders, Account Managers, and internal teams to develop and advocate optimal
- CCC solutions while building synergies across the Honeywell organization.
- Lead regional technology seminars, sales events, and customer workshops to promote CCC
- capabilities, strengthen customer relationships, gain market insight, and demonstrate the value
- of CCC technologies and applications.
- Develop regional technical and application expertise through customer engagement, mentoring
- project execution teams, and supporting account strategies to drive growth and successful
- solution adoption across the region.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Automation and Control Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Five years experience in control systems engineering or related field or related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in Oil & Gas field is preferred
- Prior experience in control systems engineering or related field
- Native proficiency in the local language (Italian or Dutch) and strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be eligible and able to obtain work visa or work permit in country/site of field assignment(s)
- Valid international driver’s license preferred
Only for Italy
Permanent employment contract. The gross annual salary starts at €60,700. The National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking and Plant Installation Industry applies. The final compensation package will depend on the candidate's experience and qualifications and will also be determined based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
