The Clinical Trials Division (CTD) is part of the Pharma Services Group (PSG) to support Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, and Medical Device companies in planning, supplying, and executing clinical trials.
Position Summary
Lead the operational finance governance of Thermo Fisher’s Agentic AI Purchase Order (PO) Intake Validation and Quote Matching Solution. This role is responsible for owning the monitoring of AI-driven PO intake, PO-to-Quote mapping, exception validations, coordinating cross-functional resolution, and partnering with Development and CERT (Customer Experience Resolution) teams to continuously enhance AI logic, automation, and platform capabilities supporting the Quote-to-Cash process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily AI PO intake, validation performance, and operational health.
- Own Finance exception management for PO-to-Quote mapping, validation failures, duplicate POs, blanket POs, pricing, customer master, and billing eligibility.
- Coordinate timely resolution with Sales, Project Managers, Finance, Customer Experience, Commercial Operations, and Master Data teams.
- Ensure accountable owners are engaged, provide solution options, track SLAs, and escalate high-risk or aged exceptions.
- Serve as Finance business lead for platform enhancements, partnering with Development and CERT on roadmaps, business requirements, testing, process rules, and production releases.
- Recommend improvements to AI decision logic, validation rules, workflows, and automation opportunities.
- Develop operational reporting and KPIs including validation accuracy, exception aging, automation rate, and invoice readiness.
- Maintain governance, audit readiness, process documentation, and compliance with Finance controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of Finance, Order-to-Cash, Commercial Operations, or Finance Transformation experience.
- Experience with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement skills.
- Preferred: AI-enabled business processes, Agile/SDLC, UAT, Lean or Six Sigma.
