Salary up to £75,000 DOE
At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
New Street Vets, part of ivc, is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team, offering the perfect opportunity to combine hands-on veterinary work with mentoring, coaching and helping to shape the future of the practice. If you're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while supporting and developing those around you, we'd love to hear from you.
A Varied Caseload with Room to Grow
As a busy first-opinion small animal practice, no two days are the same. You'll enjoy a diverse caseload including cats, dogs, rabbits, small furries, the occasional chicken and even local wildlife. The role offers an excellent balance of consultations and surgery, with the flexibility to dedicate more time to surgery if that's where your interests lie. You'll also gain exposure to emergency and critical care cases, ensuring plenty of clinical variety and opportunities to further develop your skills.
Modern Facilities, Traditional Values
Based in a charming converted house close to Honiton's high street, our practice combines a warm, community-focused feel with the equipment needed to deliver outstanding veterinary care. You'll have access to dedicated consulting rooms, a dental radiography suite, a recently installed ultrasound machine and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. With an exciting practice refurbishment underway, it's a fantastic time to join us as we continue to invest in our facilities and our future.
Join a Team That Supports Your Success
You'll become part of a collaborative team of experienced Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs and a supportive Practice Manager who genuinely enjoy working together. We foster an open, inclusive culture where ideas are shared, learning is encouraged and everyone is supported to reach their full potential. Whether you're looking to develop your leadership skills or pursue a clinical certificate, we'll help you achieve your goals.
