Position Summary:
Come make history with us! Our Mobile Acute Care (MAC) team is changing the way care is delivered in the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. This isn’t basic home care, this is fast-paced, hospital-level care delivered where patients are most comfortable: at home. The Mobile Acute Care (MAC) RN I performs discharge, medication and blood administration visits in patients’ homes.
Immediate full-time opening for 4 10-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). You will learn new skills that will benefit you and your patients for the rest of your career and will have the opportunity to progress into our Mobile Acute Care RN II position, which is 3 12-hour shifts. MAC nurses work autonomously to assess patients, then collaborate in real-time with providers to develop and implement care plans that help patients heal at home.
You will work from a company provided vehicle and travel primarily to patient homes around your area. Baltimore, Silver Spring, NoVA, and PG County/DC are examples of local areas we assign RN’s to.
We are 100% digital – all charting is via apps; we use Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to collaborate along with Apple hardware (iPad or MacBook.)
Required Qualifications:
Unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State(s) of practice
Unrestricted Driver’s License
Able to send/receive text messages, work with smartphone apps, and use GPS navigation
Able to work collaboratively with co-workers and customers
Able to work independently in all care settings
Able to meet attendance, punctuality, and other reliability requirements of the position
Able to push/pull 50+ lb in positioning patients
