Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Health Center Activity Assistant (PT/16/wk) to join our team at Water's Edge.
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:
- Invites and assists residents to and from activity areas for participation.
- Leads or assists with planned activities following specific instructions as to goal procedures and outcome.
- Sets up and dismantles activity areas before and after programs.
- Assists with record keeping documentation and filing.
Physical demands and work environment:
- Frequently moderate bending and stooping, standing 50%, ability to push residents in wheelchair.
- Push, pull or lift to 30 pounds on occasion
- Works in retirement facility environment with regular exposure to chronically ill and frail elderly.

Starting hourly rate: $15
Shift: Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
