Job Description
As a Security Officer EMT Patrol Driver in North Haven, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, patients, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct individuals in accordance with healthcare location protocols.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess EMT certification.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
