We are working on challenging projects that require rigorous analytical skills, practical experience and understanding of firmware as well. Our diverse team covers all disciplines of mechatronic product development. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with our experienced engineers.Your ResponsibilitiesDesign, Develop and Validate safety circuits and fail-safe mechanismsPerform reviews of schematics and designsDesign and use in-house testing devicesSelect and integrate electronic components (motors, drivers, sensors, power systems) for optimal performanceContribute to the schematics and design of productsDevelop and maintain electrical documentation (BOMs, test procedures, compliance reports)Troubleshoot and resolve Electric/Electronics issues in existing robotic systemsCreate test cases for the electronics subsystemWork hands-on with the target hardware and the robot systemCreate schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams for productionCollaborate closely with FW/SW and mechanics teamsEssential SkillsCapability to work and communicate in EnglishStrong expertise in motor control systems (PMSM)Knowledge of power electronics (DC/DC converters, battery management)Understanding of communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)Ability to perform signal analysis and debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers)Knowledge of safety standards for high-voltage and high-current applicationsExperience with thermal management of power electronicsHands-on experience building electronicsKnowledge of microcontroller programmingExperience with harness design and cable management for moving systemsProficient in using Altium DesignerBeneficial SkillsExperience with writing requirements, test case specifications and test implementationWorked on functional safety projects in the pastExperience with common SW engineering tools e.g., gitSolid Works ElectricalWhat we offerWork in a talented team of experienced Electronics and Firmware developersA dynamic high-tech startup with financial soundness and world-class investorsChallenging tasks and projectsA great working environment in an interdisciplinary, international teamRoom for creativity and personal development Company benefitsAbout usAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
