Associate Director, Delegation Operational Enablement and Support

The Associate Director, Delegation Operational Enablement and Support leads strategic enablement, oversight, and operational support for Humana's delegated provider and vendor relationships. This role partners across markets, operational teams, providers, vendors, and leadership to improve delegation processes, resolve complex issues, strengthen governance, and support value-based outcomes and member well-being. You will report to the Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead up to around 6 direct reports
- Develop and implement programs, processes, tools, and education that support delegated relationships across their lifecycle.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on delegation requirements, oversight, governance, operational execution, and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with market teams, operational partners, provider and vendor partners, and internal leadership.
- Establish, manage, and improve oversight processes, including ownership and support of the Delegation Council.
- Support markets with delegated relationships by resolving pain points, aligning processes, and connecting stakeholders to appropriate business areas.
- Monitor delegation performance, identify risks and trends, and drive continuous improvement in consistency, documentation, education, and stakeholder experience.
- Prepare executive-level reporting, communicate outcomes and risks, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare provider and payer relationships
- 2+ years indirect/direct leadership experience
- Experience identifying complex technical and operational problems within departments or across business areas
- Knowledge of Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience presenting executive-level reporting, presentations, and recommendations
- Experience implementing process improvement initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting delegated provider arrangements, value-based care programs, provider operations, or payer-provider partnerships
- Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as Power BI
- Experience developing reporting, dashboards, metrics, or performance insights for management
- Experience working with claims systems and encounters
- Experience developing training, education, governance materials, templates, policies, protocols, or process documentation
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
