PhD Thesis on Quantum Navigation Systems

Your tasks and responsibilities
You develop solutions to design and build resilient navigation systems that combine quantum technology with state-of-the art solutions
You simulate and analyse navigation architectures that fuse classical and quantum sensor signals
You are part of defining, integrating, and field-testing a flying hardware demonstrator
You present your research at leading international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals
Desired skills and qualifications
Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) (master) in the area of physics, robotics, aerospace or electrical engineering, quantum technologies, or related technical fields
Knowledge on classical navigation methods, sensor fusion and state estimation theory
Solid foundation in mathematics, experience with probabilistic models
Basic knowledge of simulation modelling and good background in related software tools (Matlab/Python)
First experiences in the field of quantum sensing is an asset
Hands-on experience in the laboratory is a plus
