About the role 

You will be an established Project Engineering professional who will conduct engineering activities that contribute to the successful achievement of overall project objectives. You will gather data and will prepare, analyze, maintain, and present plans and progress reports to monitor project performance. You will identify and escalate issues when necessary and will ensure project tasks are completed effectively and on time. 

 

 

  

Key Responsibilities 

As a NPI Manufacturing Engineer, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Manage the Manufacturing Technicians’ team. 

  • Be part of the team for solving production problems, is close to direct staff and the process. 

  • Work as a team with departments such as Maintenance, Materials, Quality, Safety and Training to meet Production objectives. 

  • Ensure compliance with Carrier Excellence, Quality Management Systems (ISO) and Safety. 

  • Offers new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identifies and implements new practices and processes that are best practices in the industry 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor's degree required: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing process. 

  • Interpretation and generation of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams (using Autocad, etc.) 

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes. 

  • Lean Manufacturing. 

  • Microsoft Office. 

  • Knowledge in Tooling. 

  • Conversational English 

 

 

Evaluate candidates with strong hands-on expertise or knowledge with:  

  • Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience 

  • Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability tomake enhancements and leverage in daily work 

  • University Degree or equivalent 

  • A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
