Your Responsabilities

  • Dual-Remit Leadership: You act as a hands-on technical expert and people manager, driving both ServiceNow solutions and the growth, engagement, and performance of assigned employees (including team members outside your immediate stream).
  • Technical Delivery & Architecture: You provide technical leadership by designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable, secure, and maintainable enhancements on the ServiceNow platform, translating complex requirements into robust implementation designs.
  • People Management & Mentorship: You support your team's career progression and wellbeing through regular 1:1s, constructive feedback, coaching, and individual development plans while aligning training opportunities.
  • Engineering Standards & Stability: You continuously improve engineering practices (code quality, testing, release practices), ensure high platform reliability, and minimize incidents while keeping appropriate technical documentation up to date.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Roadmaps: You collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align delivery plans, influence project priorities, and contribute to the definition of technical platform roadmaps.

Your Profile

  • Educational Background: University degree in computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Professional Experience: Extensive hands-on experience in ServiceNow development delivering production-grade solutions, combined with prior people management or team leadership experience in agile, distributed, and multinational setups.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Required: Strong proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting/configuration patterns (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, UI Builder). Robust experience with integrations (REST/SOAP, MID Server), data management, and platform upgrade/release practices.
  • Nice to have: ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or CIS are a strong advantage. Exposure to specific modules like ITSM, CSM, HRSD, HAM/SAM, or ITOM.
  • Soft Skills: High level of technical judgment and problem-solving. Strong capability to lead through influence, resolve conflicts, and balance hands-on technical delivery with supportive, people-centric leadership responsibilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent English (C1 level), both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
