Job Summary
As a Commercial Marketing & Communications Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and delivering client-facing and prospect-facing communications, campaigns, sales enablement materials and event support that help International Organisation Health (IOH) commercial teams engage clients and grow the business. International organisations play a crucial role in making our world a safer and fairer place to live in. These organisations operate in a complex environment, where guaranteed access to quality healthcare for their staff is essential. Cigna Healthcare works in partnership with IGOs, NGOs and governments who rely on us to protect their employees and help them improve their health and vitality.
The Commercial Marketing & Communications Supervisor will act as an important link between Marketing, Sales, Client Management and Customer Engagement teams. The role will focus on commercial enablement, client and member campaigns, and client-facing materials, as well as the planning and delivery of client engagement events.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Commercial Enablement & Support
Develop and maintain IOH value proposition, RFP sales summaries, presentations and client-facing collateral.
Translate business and service topics into clear, compelling narratives for clients and prospects.
Partner with Sales and Client Management teams to support business development, renewals and strategic client conversations.
Ensure client-facing materials are accurate, current and aligned to IOH messaging and brand standards.
Client & Member Communications
Develop and execute client and member communication campaigns that improve engagement and support commercial priorities.
Support service campaigns, tailored client campaigns and benefit change communications.
Partner with Customer Engagement teams to ensure communications are clear, audience-relevant and supportive of the client/member experience.
Maintain and develop IOH News and other recurring client-facing materials.
Client Events & Experience
Support the planning, delivery and follow-up of client-facing events and commercial marketing activations.
Coordinate logistics, project management, communications, materials and attendee experience.
Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure events are delivered professionally and consistently.
Develop pre-event and post-event messaging that supports relationship building and continued engagement.
Nairobi Marketing Hub Coordination
Provide day-to-day coordination and people management for Nairobi-based marketing team.
Support consistency, quality and prioritisation across operational marketing delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve ways of working, delivery efficiency and cross-regional collaboration.
YOUR PROFILE
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial marketing and communications.
Minimum 2 years of people leadership or supervisory experience.
Skills and Experience
Strong experience in marketing communications, commercial marketing, client communications or sales enablement.
Excellent writing, messaging and PowerPoint skills.
Ability to translate complex topics into clear and commercially relevant materials.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively with Sales, Client Management, Marketing and Customer Engagement stakeholders.
Experience supporting client events, campaigns or commercial presentations.
Experience in healthcare, financial services, international business or B2B environments preferred.
Degree in a related field.
