Senior Staff Engineer Applications

Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Enforce automotive requirements engineering processes to ensure strict quality, full lifecycle traceability, and compliance across the product tree. * Own the Requirements Management Plan (RQMP) while supporting Project and Program Managers with setup, planning, and monitoring. * Drive the finalization of documentation, including requirement specifications, standardized reusable databases, and traceability matrices. * Ensure Intellectual Property (IP) integration and serve as the main technical interface for requirements with external partners and suppliers. * Lead impact assessments for requirement changes to support Change Configuration Board (CCB) decisions, baselining, and snapshot creation. * Act as primary tool administrator and technical support contact for Jama tools, reviews, reports, and Req Connect. * Guide and train the engineering team on writing high-quality requirements, executing tracing, and reviewing work products. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical and Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent field. * 5+ years of Automotive process experience in a relevant engineering environment. * Strong expertise in Requirements Manager (RQM) and Change and Configuration Management (CCM) methodologies and tools. * Deep understanding of automotive customer applications and automotive product development processes. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
