Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Analyze, transform, model, and visualize data to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve automated processes and scalable data solutions

  • Execute complex data requests, including data extraction, reconciliations, journal entry testing, and reporting activities

  • Develop, document, test, and maintain processes that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and sustainability

  • Partner with engagement teams and business stakeholders to recommend data-driven approaches that support strategic objectives

  • Evaluate data quality, completeness, and reliability through appropriate due diligence and validation procedures

  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of data tools, methodologies, and best practices

  • Mentor team members, perform peer reviews, and provide guidance on analytics and automation activities

  • Educate technical and non-technical stakeholders on data analytics capabilities, limitations, and opportunities

  • Manage priorities, communicate project status, meet service level commitments, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, Alteryx, Python, AWS, Spark, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, IDEA, TeamMate, Adobe, or similar platforms

  • Experience designing and implementing automated workflows and scalable data solutions

  • Experience mentoring team members and reviewing work products for quality and accuracy

  • Experience working in a professional services, consulting, audit, risk, or financial services environment

  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality management, and analytics best practices

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years of experience

  • Experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • High proficiency in Excel

  • Understanding of accounting, audit, risk, and financial principles

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills

  • Meet deadlines and service level agreements consistently

  • Exercise independent judgment in matters of significance

  • Commitment to continuous improvement
