Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud Applications Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on the implementing/enhancing/supporting and maintaining Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Modules (Oracle GL, SLA, AP, AR, and CM) as well as design, development, and support of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and work with Oracle Application Express (APEX) and PL/SQL. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality integrations and applications, providing technical expertise, and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Implement, Enhance, Support and Maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Modules. Including but not limited to Oracle General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Oracle Payables, Oracle Receivables and Oracle Cash Management.
  • Integration Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Application Development: Develop and support Oracle APEX applications, SQL and PL/SQL code.
  • Report Development: Design, develop and support Oracle BI Publisher reports and data extracts as well as OTBI reports.
  • Database Design and Modeling: Expertise in database design, normalization, and ER modeling.
  • Integration and Automation: Implement reliable and efficient data integration and automation services.
  • Production Support: Troubleshoot production issues across various business areas and technologies.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize database and application performance, including tuning PL/SQL code and indexing strategies.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure integrations and applications adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business clients, IT staff, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage quality assurance and testing efforts to ensure the reliability and performance of integrations and applications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of data structures, queries, reports, and development processes. Develop and institutionalize software user manuals and technical reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply business process improvement practices and re-engineering methodologies to enhance integration and application development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with Oracle Financial Applications.
  • Full lifecycle implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PL/SQL programming, including triggers, procedures, packages, and functions.
  • Knowledge and experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
  • Familiarity with database administration and architecture.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle APEX and associated web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Expertise in database design, normalization, and ER modeling.
  • Advanced knowledge of connectivity between Oracle Applications and external applications.
  • Understanding of Oracle security features and best practices.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve routine and advanced system technical issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and impact business results across teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adjust to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest advancements in Oracle technologies and software development practices.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills; must be able to form positive relationships with business partners and peers.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to perform with a sense of urgency.
