Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead global spare parts demand planning, inventory policy, and lifecycle strategy across field stock, depots, and partner locations.

  • Define and optimize the global logistics and distribution network, including stocking strategy, transportation, and partner performance.

  • Set global stocking strategies by location and criticality to ensure the right part is in the right place at the right time while balancing service levels and working capital.

  • Support service-part lifecycle governance for new product introductions, engineering changes, and end-of-life transitions to reduce disruption and obsolescence risk.

  • Lead third-party logistics and repair partner governance, including performance expectations, service levels, and cost accountability.

  • Drive network and process standardization across regions while allowing for local market requirements, creating one scalable global operating model.

  • Translate service demand signals into supply, repair, and distribution decisions through disciplined forecasting, capacity planning, and KPI-based operating reviews

  • Oversee global depot repair operations, including capacity, turnaround, repair strategy, quality standards, and cost performance.

  • Drive a standardized global operating model by partnering with regional service teams, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, procurement, and external vendors.

  • Build operating cadence, KPI reviews, and continuous improvement disciplines that improve service availability, inventory efficiency, and customer outcomes.

  • Build and lead a high-performing team of managers and individual contributors to execute the global strategy

  • Higher parts availability, improved first-time fix, and reduced customer downtime.

  • Better inventory productivity through improved turns and lower excess/obsolete stock.

  • Reduced logistics cost, faster lead times, and stronger depot turnaround performance.

  • A scalable, standardized global operating model with clear accountability and performance visibility.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in service supply chain, aftermarket logistics, depot repair, or field service operations.

  • Proven leadership in global spare parts planning, logistics, inventory optimization, and distribution strategy.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and external partners in a complex, matrixed global environment.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a track record of transformation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

  • Global, enterprise mindset with the ability to drive one operating model across regions.

  • Data-driven, outcomes-focused leader who can balance strategy with operational execution.

  • Strong influencer and communicator who builds trust across functions and executive stakeholders.

  • Comfortable leading through complexity, ambiguity, and transformation.

Physical / Mental Requirements

  • Flexibility to work global business hours with occasional after‑hours support for escalations or major events.

  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% for site visits, customer meetings, or leadership forums.

Salary Range Information

$183,700.00 - $293,900.00 USD Annual
