Operations Program Lead
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Program Lead to join the Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA.
This position is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment on planned orders, ensuring accurate data-informed decision-making, and executing planning strategies within the ERP environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this role coordinates activities between supply chain, planning, operations, and sales stakeholders to evaluate demand and supply signals, define priorities, and track execution outcomes. The Program Lead acts as the central point of accountability for collecting and analyzing data, facilitating decision-making, driving action plans, and reporting progress to leadership.
Main Job Duties:
• Lead the Planned Order Committee, including scheduling, agenda creation, and meeting facilitation.
• Establish and maintain governance processes for reviewing and approving planned orders.
• Drive alignment across sales, production, procurement, and planning stakeholders.
• Ensure decisions are documented and communicated effectively.
• Gather, validate, and synthesize data from ERP systems (primarily Infor CloudSuite Industrial 9.0) and
supporting tools.
• Analyze demand forecasts, inventory levels, planned orders, capacity constraints, BOM critical items and
supply risks.
• Identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Utilize knowledge of ERP planning processes to interpret and manage planned orders.
• Identify critical long lead time items that will impact the on-time delivery to the customer and determine
best methods to minimize the risk.
• Ensure data integrity across ERP inputs (BOM, lead times, inventory, demand signals).
• Partner with data governance and planning teams to resolve system or process issues.
• Define and assign action items based on committee decisions.
• Develop and maintain tracking mechanisms for follow-ups and deliverables.
• Monitor execution progress against deadlines and escalate risks when needed.
• Ensure cross-functional accountability and closure of key decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes, tools, and workflows.
• Drive standardization and best practices in ERP planning and committee operations.
• Support digital transformation initiatives related to planning and supply chain.
Education:
• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business or business equivalent years of experience preferred.
• 5 or more years of experience in supply chain planning, production planning, or ERP-based operations preferred
including experience leading governance forums or committees.
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Strong working knowledge of ERP planning processes (MRP, demand planning, inventory management).
• MRP or ERP software experience required. Infor Cloudsuite Industrial (CSI) 9.0 or similar ERP systems (e.g.
SAP, Oracle) preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs or initiative with use of project tracking tools and ethodologies.
• Data analysis through utilization of Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong organization and tracking skills to support multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret complex data sets and identify actionable insights.
• Problem solving approach with attention to detail, risk identification, and mitigation planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-focused, and dynamic environment
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
• Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a
typical office environment.
• The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where
under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and
mandatory hearing protection.
