  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. 
  2. 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Manual Testing, and Automation Testing. 
  3. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). 
  4. Experience testing ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Applications, .NET Core Applications, and Microservices. 
  5. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks. 
  6. Strong experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI, or equivalent tools. 
  7. Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts with hands-on experience in SQL Server, query writing, stored procedures, joins, and data validation. 
  8. Experience in Security Testing with knowledge of SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, Authentication and Authorization testing. 
  9. Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven Framework, and Keyword-Driven Framework. 
  10. Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. 

Working knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools

 

Key responsibilities: 

  1. Design and develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test schedules to effectively validate ASP.NET and .NET Core applications against functional and technical requirements. 
  2. Perform Manual and Automation Testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems to ensure high-quality software delivery. 
  3. Participate in requirement gathering sessions, sprint planning, design reviews, and functional specification discussions with business and technology teams. 
  4. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing using industry-standard automation frameworks and tools. 
  5. Validate ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web Forms, .NET Core, and Microservices-based applications for functionality, usability, reliability, and performance. 
  6. Perform comprehensive API testing including REST APIs, JSON/XML validation, authentication, authorization, request/response verification, and integration testing. 
  7. Conduct database testing by writing SQL queries, validating stored procedures, joins, views, triggers, and ensuring data integrity between application layers. 
  8. Perform security testing with a focus on identifying vulnerabilities such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Authentication and Authorization flaws, and OWASP Top 10 risks. 
  9. Proactively identify opportunities for test automation and continuously enhance automation coverage across applications and services. 
  10. Manage defect lifecycle including defect logging, prioritization, retesting, root cause analysis, and defect closure. 
  11. Create and maintain automation frameworks following industry best practices such as Page Object Model (POM), Data-Driven Framework, and Keyword-Driven Framework. 
  12. Collaborate with Development, Business Analysis, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions across environments. 
  13. Validate application releases through regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing.
