We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer role to join our Wealth Services Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the Development and implementation of full stack solutions using modern frameworks and technologies. Build and maintain high-performance backend services in Java 21 / Spring Boot 4.x.
- Develop and extend Angular microfrontends using Module Federation.
- Design and operate a NestJS GraphQL BFF that resolves entitlements from EMS and Admin Center, orchestrates downstream service calls, and delivers persona-aware data to the frontend.
- Ensure code quality, security, maintainability through best practices, code reviews and automation pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, with advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience as Java developer/programmer, using a specific application development toolkit and knowledge of front end and backend development coding languages (Java 21.0, Spring boot 4.x , JSON)
- SQL, No-SQL(MongoDB) or unstructured database
- Understanding of JVM, memory usage, performance testing and tuning.
- Understand nuances of architecture, Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns.
- Must have RESTful web service experience with solid.
- Solid understanding of multithreading concepts with hands on experience
- Solid understanding of microservices based scalable architecture (previous experience working with Kafka).
- Experience implementing caching (using Hazelcast /others) will be plus.
- Strong experience in SDLC, DevOps processes – CI/CD tools, Git, etc.
- Should be capable to investigate the production issue by checking code & Splunk logs
- Champion AI-assisted development across the SDLC — design, coding, testing, code review, documentation, and production support.
