Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed Field Patrol in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to concerns with integrity. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare treatment location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, behavioral concerns, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support entry procedures, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate site personnel.
- Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
