As a Vice Senior Manager of Ichiba (E-Commerce) Product, you will be responsible for managing, developing, planning and operation of the business both exist and new by using Rakuten's capabilities collaborating with stakeholders both internal and external. You will play an integral part of growing our business through products and business innovations by leveraging your passion for the digital marketing solutions

Responsibilities

  • Managing Rakuten Promotion Platform (RPP) which is marketing solution for Rakuten Ichiba’s Merchants

  • Achieve the business KPI by generating and enhancing the values of our products with focus on Merchants’ GMS (Gross Merchandize Sales)

  • Acting as the project lead and collaborating with both Rakuten internal businesses and external digital marketing partners

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with business decision makers both internally and externally. Ensuring a strong pipeline with Ichiba (E-Commerce) business.

  • Build and maintain growth strategy for business sustainability

  • Cultivate section members’ capabilities for their professional growth

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years’ experiences in digital marketing business either from agency, consulting, media/platform, or client side.

  • Business level Japanese skills are required as you will need to communicate frequently with Japanese internal and external stakeholders

  • People management experience is required

  • Demonstrated expertise in wide range of project management/business lead collaborating with stakeholders both internal and external, or equivalent experiences

  • E-Commerce related business experience is preferred

  • Must be an excellent communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills

  • Must be a team leader and a self-starter
