Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. This is an onsite role located at our Raleigh, NC facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.
As a Production Scheduler, you will be an integral member of Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Supply Chain Team, with responsibilities for production scheduling activities, loading the factories to best achieve the customer’s requirements, while managing factory capacity and inventory levels for a specified group of products.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you’ll do:
• You will establish and maintain master schedule accurately to generate a valid production schedule and drive material requirements accordingly. • You will actively participate in the SIOP process; driving manufacturing supply review for your product line, evaluate changes in future demand and adjust forecast as required to achieve a balance between maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaining optimal inventory levels. • You will work closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Engineering teams to understand and strive to meet customer expectations. • You will work with Manufacturing teams to ensure that the production plan and customer requests are fulfilled. • You will produce various weekly and monthly reports to provide vital information to management • You will maintain master data integrity for given product lines • You will work closely with NPI project teams to support phasing in and out of products as required • You will participate and lead continuous improvement projects as part of the “Focus Factory” for your production line
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 3 years related experience OR 7 years of related professional experience in supply chain or operations in a manufacturing setting • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. • Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the Raleigh, NC area to be considered for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications: • SAP Experience • Microsoft Office proficiency • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management • Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field • CPIM or other supply chain certification • Previous experience in production planning in a Make to Order manufacturing environment • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts and tool sets as they relate to production scheduling
Skills:
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of ERP requirements and customer order processing • Basic understanding of production routings, product costing, order entry, and typical supply chain functions. • Ability to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to present data effectively to support recommendations regarding production plan/master schedule • Ability to adjust work priorities to meet continuously changing schedules • Ability to set priorities and accomplish goals within time constraints. • Maintaining sense of urgency to customers’ requirements.
