We are seeking a talented individual to join Mercer’s Sales team. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Pursuit Manager, Investments

You will support end-to-end pursuit strategy and delivery for key investment opportunities, working closely with sales, investment specialists and Design. The role focuses on clear messaging, reusable content and efficient processes to help improve win rates across a range of investment topics, including private markets, ESG, capital markets and superannuation.

We will count on you to:

  • Lead pursuit planning for identified opportunities, including opportunity plans, schedules, win themes and action trackers aligned to client needs and Mercer’s value proposition
  • Manage pursuit delivery end to end, coordinating contributors, deadlines and polished collateral to support proposals and meetings
  • Develop, edit and maintain modular assets, templates and centralised investment content for consistent tailoring across pursuits
  • Work with sales, investment specialists and Design to ensure materials are accurate, aligned to pursuit strategy and tailored to the client
  • Apply quality controls and content standards to improve consistency, efficiency and reusability across the team
  • Build relationships with local practice areas, business development and other stakeholders to capture subject matter input and lessons learned
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in pursuit processes, the content library and team knowledge sharing

What you need to have:

  • Relevant experience in professional services, proposal or pursuit management, sales enablement or client service
  • Experience leading complex pursuits and managing proposal production end to end
  • Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts on technical investment content and client-facing materials
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn technical information into clear client messaging

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Investment Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing modular content, templates and centralised content libraries
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
