As an AR Calling - RCMS - Specialist, you will engage with insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims, resolve payment delays, and maintain accurate documentation. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized advice, handle technical tasks, and conduct in-depth analyses to support specific projects. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver quality results that drive value for clients and contribute to the team's success.
In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on optimizing operational performance and developing innovative solutions within our Advisory practice. You will work closely with clients to analyze operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. By providing guidance on implementing technology solutions and process automation, you will help clients streamline processes and improve business performance. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with various teams, leveraging your skills to support healthcare clients in achieving better results and ultimately enhancing patient care.
Responsibilities
-Offer specialized knowledge in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
- Analyzing client operational processes to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Implementing technology solutions and process automation to optimize operational performance and drive business outcomes
- Conducting operational analysis to discern patterns and provide insights for process improvement
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve payment issues and improve revenue cycle processes
- Maintaining accurate documentation of communications and actions taken in accounts receivable follow-up
- Contacting insurance companies to follow up on outstanding claims and resolve issues causing payment delays
- Verifying claim status, appealing denied claims, and resubmitting claims when necessary
- Generating reports on accounts receivable status, aging trends, and collection efforts
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations and guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and data security
- Participating in meetings and discussions to enhance workflow and operational excellence
What You Must Have
- Any Undergraduate Degree (10+2 or Equivalent) OR Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution
- Minimum 6 Months to 3 Years of experience in healthcare provider revenue cycle management
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Proficiency in using billing software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- Shift timings: Flexible to work in night shifts (US Time zone)

- Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10, CPT)
- Familiarity with UB-04 and/or CMS-1500 claim forms
- Experience with Epic HB or PB systems
- Excelling in documentation and reporting
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations and guidelines

- Identifying and resolving payment delays
