Let’s take a closer look at the roleJob DescriptionTA Services is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with at least 1 year of CDL driving experience. Shift: Flexibility (Overtime)- 10-12 hours a day. Starts at 6AM.Responsibilities Transport finished goods and/or raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or retail/distribution centersPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, along with light preventative maintenanceEnsure compliance with all DOT regulations and internal company policiesSafely maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsReport vehicle defects, accidents, or violations promptlyWork EnvironmentFast-paced, on-the-road and loading dock environmentsExposure to outdoor weather conditionsPhysical work, including occasional lifting, climbing, and extended sitting while drivingQualificationsMinimum of 1 year of CDL drivingPrevious experience in commercial driving or similar transportation roles preferredMust be at least 23 years oldNo DWI/DUI on MVR in the past 3 yearsNo more than one at-fault accident on MVR within the past 3 yearsMust pass pre-employment physical and DOT drug screenManual TransmissionEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPersonality TraitsTeam player with a positive attitudeWillingness to jump in where needed"Whatever it takes" mentalitySafety-minded and dependableAdditional InformationPay/Benefits/Perks$20/hr + Additional drop pay for every load deliveredAccrue up to five days PTO in first year.
