Services business provides offerings like parts supply, repair jobs, overhauling and retrofit of coal fired power plants in India. Job Summary
Reporting into Serv Operation Finance organization, the candidate will be responsible for managing end to end project financials of Core portfolio - parts supply, repairs, and overhauling business.
As project finance controller, the candidate will be accountable for driving technical accounting compliance, financial & operational internal controls to deliver financial results for core portfolio.
In spirit of continuous improvement, selected candidate would be responsible to drive process simplification and automation, & operational excellence as operational finance partner to the operations and overall business.

Roles and Responsibilities
Project Controlling
· Measure, monitor and control financial movements within the project scope, and ensuring they are correctly and accurately reported.
· Ensure that all Committed costs for the project are fully documented and supported by ERP and all Costs to complete are verified, understood by all stakeholders well supported by substantial evidence and documentation.
· Manage and reconcile the project results both within the project accounts and with respect to balance sheet positions related to the project.
· Ensure consistency of assessment of risk recognition and accounting for any risks and opportunities in the projects.
· Monitor and forecast cash flows arising from the project, setting control environment for the cash management in order to optimize cash flow.
· Monitor and forecast revenue and margins arising from the project, setting control environment for the revenue and margin management
· Create and manage warranty pool for projects in core portfolio.
· Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including Delegation of Authority (DoA), are implemented,
robust and compliant.
· Drive internal and statutory audit for scope of Core portfolio
Management reporting
Manage the periodical partial / consolidated project financial summaries and its presentations of the results.
Drive financial project reporting on monthly and quarterly basis for MIS and Project Business Reviews for core.
Provide management with reliable financial data to assist in the decision-making. Focus on data automation and analytics to drive this.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred
2 years of work experience in Project, business or factory controlling.
Sound knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards & US GAAP
Working knowledge of management accounting,
Working knowledge on Internal Control system, ERP- SAP (FICO) and foreign currency hedging & forward contracts
