Business Central Senior Technical Support Engineer
Response and Resolution: You own, investigate, and solve complex customer technical issues and act as an advisor to the customer, collaborating within and across teams, leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices. Readiness: You lead in building communities with peer delivery roles and share your knowledge through readiness programs, technical coaching and mentoring of others. You deepen your technical and professional proficiency to enable you to resolve complex customer issues, through training and readiness. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 3+ years technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR equivalent experience. Business-level fluency in English, including the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in professional and technical business environments. 5+ years hands-on experience in BC NAV systems like Dynamics, SAP, PeopleSoft, NetSuite ERP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Epicor, and/or related. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR equivalent experience. Industry IT-Based Certifications (e.g. Comp-TIA, CCNA, ISC2) Business Central Functionality: In-depth understanding of Business Central modules covering financial management, supply chain, project management, sales, and service functionalities. Installation and Configuration: Proficiency in installing, configuring, and setting up Business Central, including database configuration, user setup, security settings, and module activation. Customization and Modification: Ability to customize Business Central forms, reports, and workflows using built-in customization tools or AL (Application Language) programming for more advanced modifications. Integration with Third-party Systems: Knowledge of integrating Business Central with other systems such as CRM, payroll, HR systems, and industry-specific software to streamline business operations. Data Migration and Upgrades: Skills in migrating data from legacy systems to Business Central, managing data integrity, and handling version upgrades and patches. Security and User Management: Implementing security measures, managing user roles, permissions, and ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory standards.
