Systems Analyst I (Dallas, TX) - Austin Industries

Austin Industries has an outstanding opportunity for an IT Systems Analyst at our corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. The IT Systems Analyst will ensure stable and reliable IT systems operations through strategic technology investments and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve IT systems and application issues
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 applications including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
- Administer Azure Active Directory, user accounts, licenses, and security settings
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Office 365 tools and services
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with SLAs
- Monitor and maintain servers, storage, security hardware, software, and services to ensure availability, stability, and performance scalability
- Manage IT systems inventory and oversee software and hardware lifecycle, addressing server and application vulnerabilities
- Maintain documentation for systems, business continuity, and disaster recovery
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to identify requirements and implement effective solutions
- Assist in project planning, risk assessment, and tracking
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Entra, Exchange Online, Teams, CoPilot and OneDrive
- Ability to install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and administer IT systems, servers, operating systems, and applications
- Experience working with a ticketing system to manage and monitor support tickets
- Knowledge of Azure resources such as Resource Groups, Virtual Machines, VNet, etc.
- Understanding of basic AI concepts and terminology
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified or Azure Solutions Administrator) a plus
- Experience with Critical IT Systems and Applications:
- Microsoft Azure, including servers, resource groups, networking, and storage.
- Microsoft Active Directory (AD)/Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Identity Management
- Microsoft Office 365, including mailbox administration, policies, and restore.
- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Exchange, hybrid, shared calendars, and public folders
- Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony
- Hybrid infrastructure (on-premises and cloud)
- Ticketing systems for creating, monitoring, updating, and escalating requests
- PowerShell/MSGraph for developing and updating Azure and Office 365 scripts
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong focus on building and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills and documentation skills
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator with expertise in:
- Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD)
- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Azure Administration, including servers, virtual networks, and network security groups.
- Office 365 Administration and Licensing Management
