Ready to assume a crucial role within the Business Systems Department?
The Business Systems Analyst designs, customizes, supports, and maintains applications within the organization's IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other business systems. They will work closely with business and IT teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions, ensuring the ERP system supports efficient workflows, accurate data management, and integration with other systems. The Business Systems Analyst builds reports, configures workflows, troubleshoots issues, and continuously enhances the business systems to meet evolving business demands. As the Business Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the daily management and continuous improvement of the company’s business systems. This role is about rolling up your sleeves and driving execution. You will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s IFS ERP system drives efficiency, ensures our workforce runs smoothly, and evolves with the business.
Are You Looking to:
Troubleshoot and resolve IFS application issues and provide user support as needed?
Facilitate basic data setup to support growth and evolving business needs?
Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and end-users to gather requirements and design tailored IFS ERP solutions?
Customize and extend IFS modules across Supply Chain, Finance, Projects, Service, and Human Capital Management and Customer Relationship Management?
Develop comprehensive forms for end users to ensure compliance and capture thorough documentation of work performed?
Write and optimize PL/SQL code, custom events, workflows, and business logic?
Create and maintain custom reports, including Quick Reports and dashboards?
Participate in system upgrades, patches, testing, and rollout of enhancements?
Document solution designs and work instructions for technical and end-user reference?
Review and develop new business processes, and work with end users to implement new processes into daily work?
Are You Ready to:
Ensure 100% accuracy in basic data setup across all aspects of business systems.
Communicate clearly and effectively with all end users in the field and in the back office.
Create clear, professional documentation that aligns with IT standards and governance.
Perform timely and effective troubleshooting and resolution of ERP system issues.
Facilitate testing support including unit testing, integration testing, and assistance during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Support Continuous improvement initiatives for various business systems, enhancing system performance, security, and user experience.
Provide occasional off-hours support during system maintenance windows or critical updates.
What You Need:
Associates or Bachelors in Information Science, Data Science or similar (or equivalent experience as IT Support, System Analyst, Software QA Tester, ERP Support)
IFS ERP system experience or experience in another ERP system.
Proficiency with relational databases (SQL)
Comfort working with technical systems and data tooling
Hands-on experience with IFS integration frameworks such as REST APIs, Middleware, and Web Services or equivalent experience.
Expertise in creating and maintaining Quick Reports and dashboards.
Strong understanding of ERP workflows and business processes, particularly in Supply Chain, Finance, or Field Services.
Familiarity with IFS Cloud is a plus but any ERP experience will be considered
Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, data governance, and ERP system access controls preferred.
Experience in global or multi-site ERP environments and knowledge of Agile development methodologies is an advantage.
